Conference . . .

Elder Burnham had a wonderful week given the anticipation of General Conference. It is a much anticipated weekend for members of the Church! We receive instruction directly from the Prophet, Apostles and other General Authorities and auxiliary leaders. It is a tremendous weekend. Elder Burnham expounds in his email:

Man, conference was amazing - and this week was full of conferences for me.

On Wednesday, we had Zone Conference here in Cruz Alta. It is always the best day of the transfer. It seems that every time it just gets better. It is always great to talk with President and Sister Myrrha as well. They are awesome! I, Elder Tebatini and the LZ's, Elder Hayter and Elder Magustero, had to give a training at the conference about 'Leaving Something with the Investigators', a section in PMG [Preach My Gospel]. It turned out awesome. We used the example of Cinderella and how it would never have turned out happily ever after if she hadn't left the glass slipper. Haha, it was hilarious and good. We even watched a part of the film.

Then this weekend was Conference. I am so sad that it already passed and that we have to wait another six months before we can watch it again. It was wonderful! I do not know how he does it, but every conference the best talk [ for me] is by Elder Holland and every conference his talk is better than the last. I thought that there was not way he could best his talk from 6 months ago, "None Were With Him," but he did. What a powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon. Never in my life have I heard such a testimony. Everything about conference is the best. The talks, the music, the Spirit - incredible. Unfortunately, we can't watch the Priesthood Session, so I missed some parts. But thankfully, we have the Liahona! So, next month I can read them.

All right, I love you all and you are in my prayers!

Com Amor, Elder Burnham
