I forgot!!! Happy Birthday Kirstin!!! Man, I have forgotten every birthday and I never send anything for anyone. But, I will for sure bring home presents for everybody.
This week was awesome, starting with the baptism of that family: Anderson, Daniela and Brenda. It was so awesome to see the whole family enter into the water together. It was very emotional as we sang that song about Baptism from the Children's Hymnbook. We have one more date marked for this week, Iara; that woman who I told you about. Then, we have a family with a date marked for next week, Rose, the mom, and CĂntia, her daughter, and one more awesome family that we are teaching that is awesome: Roberto, Edimara and Jamile.
We went and taught this last family recently the Restoration with President. It was awesome. They were so into it, and President did the invites in the end to pray, and the woman just looked and said, "But President, I know that it is true. I feel it when these two enter into my home." Then the father said, "The first fruit of the truthfulness is this right here, all of my family together just listening to you. This never happens." They are great. Please pray for them!
Other than that, we had the first batch of Zone Conferences in the south of the mission. They were awesome and I have had a great time giving my training about the doctrine of the Atonement. I just hope that the Elders can internalize it and understand why they are here. This has truly been the most tiring week of my entire mission. I am getting old, haha. It is very strange to look at the missionaries at the conferences and realize that they are all younger than I. It is good to see a lot of old friends and make new ones.
I passed in 3 countries again this week, haha, though I forgot my passport and the Argentinians didn't want to let me in. That is an awesome experience I have been able to have. Next week, we have three more and then the transfer is basically over. This transfer only has 5 weeks.
Mom, Sister told me that you added her as a friend, haha. That is so great for Kolton. He will be a great missionary, Spencer too. I love you so very much.
Com Amor,
Elder Burnham
