Elder Burnham's email excerpt from June 5, 2010:
Happy birthday Brian! You're the man, dude. Thanks for taking such good care of my sister.
I don't have time, but I passed this week in Livramento, doing division in my old area and working with Elder Tebatini, one of my old companions. It was great and I felt so good when I was there. It is crazy the difference between the people here in Santa Maria and there. I felt so at home and so welcomed by even the people that I had just met. It was well and I was able to help the zone mark some dates. It has been struggling lately, so it was good. We passed today with President and Sister out in a pretty little place riding bikes. It was sweet.
That is awesome that Spencer and Kolton are both here in Brasil. I am glad that they will work among this people I love so much. Funny that they will be in the mission where about half of my companions are from and many other friends. It is probable that they will meet, haha.
I found out about my flight plans this week. We are going to try to go to the Temple one more time. Don't worry though, Mom, I won't miss my plane.
Thank you so much for the packages. They were great. Those cookies and the brownie were unbelievable!
Com Amor,
Elder Burnham
