Old and Bagual . . .

September 14, 2009

Bagual is the equivalent to calling someone a hick. It is the term for the gauchos here. We had the baptism of Antonio this last week. He is 87 years-old and a true gaucho, using the pants, boots, and all of that stuff. It was cool, and I had the privilege of baptizing him. I was afraid that he might break as he entered the water, but it all went well. This next week we have two dates marked: Gabriel, who is Marcelo's cousin, and Kauani, who is the sister of a young man, Juliano, who we baptized a couple of months ago. Pray for them please.

I am so excited for General Conference in 3 weeks. I can't believe it is here already. My third on the mission, NOSSA! I am getting old.

I love you so much. Thank you for the prayers and please continue!

Com Amor,
Elder Burnham
