Today was another transfer, and I will be staying here for one more with Elder Tebatini. I am excited. Elder Tebatini is crazy but fun, and we are working a lot, which is good. I love this area, so I am also very happy to stay here a little bit longer. I will not stay more than one more transfer because I will complete 6 months here...
This week was slow like most transfer weeks always are for the entire mission. Everyone gets anxious because of the transfer, but our week was still productive. We had the baptisms of Fatima, Mateus, João and Vitória, and it was awesome. In the city there were 15 baptisms, so we took a huge picture of everyone in white. It was great. It was the largest baptismal meeting that I have seen on my entire mission. There were more people at the baptism than at Church the next day, haha. These 4 were so ready it is incredible. They all appeared out of nowhere and were baptized within 3 weeks. That is a miracle. If you work hard and do your part, the Lord will always do His - which is great for a few missionaries, and not that great for a lot who think that the Lord will provide without their own work...
Thank you for everything . . .
Con Amor,
Elder Burnham
