Remembrances . . .

From Elder Burnham, September 28, 2009:

This week was a normal week. On Tuesday, I did a division in the city of Panambi with one of the Elders in my district, Elder Almeida. Does the name sound familiar? He is a good friend from the days in São Gabriel. It was great to be able to remember experiences from the beginning of the mission. It just makes me think about after the mission when I will talk with the Elders from the mission and remember all the experiences. It will be good times. Then I returned to work here in Cruz Alta with the week that I probably walked the most in my entire mission. I won't even begin to describe or guess how much we walked, but it is enough to say that I better have some strong legs after the mission, haha. So, nothing out of the ordinary really happened. One thing that is cool is that I had the privilege to baptize a young man named Jair who the Sisters in my district were teaching--that is the good part about being the LD of Sisters. He is a cool kid and it was a great experience. Other than that, we just worked and are preparing a lot of people to go to General Conference! I am so excited, one: for the conference, and two: because we are planning on having a lot of investigators there. It should be great!
