I realize that I am late posting Zack's email from January 5, 2009, but it was a quick, short paragraph. Apparently, the first email he drafted was lost in cyberspace. Regardless, I am happy to hear news--any news!
Here is what Elder Burnham had to say on January 1, 2009, which he entitled "Failure..." (I'll have to remind him that that is not a good subject line to send to your mother!):
"So, I had this grand, long email; but, again, there was a problem with the website, and it was lost. I hope you receive it, but if not, I am well. Thanks for everything from everyone. I am excited for the new year. We started off well with a baptism last Saturday of Geneci, the first door I ever knocked as a missionary. We have a baptism this Saturday of next for a girl named Francielle. I am excited!
I have no time, but I love you all and hope that all is well. Lin, the baby sounds great! Com Amor, Elder Burnham"
