Pictures.

I am not the world's greatest photographer, but here are some shots of the Bloedel Reserve.

At the trail entrance--Catherine, Alivia, and Jeff.

One of the many ponds on the property.

A great shot of Alivia who went off the beaten trail in a quest to capture grasshoppers.

The view from the back of the Bloedel home. Jeff said he would definitely turn it into a chipping/putting area. Originally, this was grazing ground for sheep. The bank was lowered to provide an unobstructed view of Port Madison Bay.

The entrance to the Bloedel home (Jeff & Alivia).

The phenomenon of two trunks growing out of an old, cedar trunk was seen on a couple of occasions.

I am fascinated by insects, and I love dragonflies. This one is brilliant blue, but I'm certain you cannot tell it from this picture. I was very pleased with the flies cooperation of this photo op.

The flowers, although few in number, were beautiful. I look forward to an early Spring visit when everything is in bloom.

What an awesome root system! (Alivia poking her head through on the bottom left.)
