I've spent the last hour registering my LAST child for 9th Grade. Aarrgh! Where have the years gone? I cannot believe that Alivia, although housed at the junior high, is starting her first year of high school. Only four years left with a child at home. The empty nest syndrome is creeping up on me much to quickly.
In other news, my "daughter" Rachel, is getting married in two days. I was there through the pregnancy, birth, and sharing our two children during the first years of their lives. Rachel and Zack were born just a day apart and have been terrific friends. He is in Brazil, and she is getting married. To me, she is still that little, doe-eyed girl with a killer smile. Her mother, Pamme, has been the most amazing friend and confidant.

Ooh, you made me cry!! I love you. Glad for the updates on Zack, I'm so excited for him to be on his mission...he's so prepared. And tell Alivia good luck will all of her activities! Sounds like a busy year!
