Did Somebody Say "Quilt"?

Every time I post a quilt entry, I must remember Holly. She taught me the quilting basics and has been a great cheerleader. My girls love to decorate, and they do it well. It is NOT a skill they learned from their mother. I was determined this year to make some holiday quilts for them.

I made identical Halloween quilts for Kirs and Lin. Kirstin also received a decorative pillow because I had some leftover fabric . . . sorry, Lin. I loved the fabrics used in this quilt. I must add that I purchased this fabric when on an outing to Country Village with my grandson, Gus. He loved the fabric and wanted me to buy it. (However, he did not like it as much as he liked the "truck" fabric -- which he carried around the store for about thirty minutes--an entire bolt and he's only 3!) Someday, Kirstin will have to pass this quilt onto Gus, if it survives that long.

Enjoy, girls! Oh, and by the way, they even received them in time for Halloween this year--but barely!

Hee hee, the first time I read through I read, "...if HE lives that long..." I'm still laughing. Oh, and now I know why he keeps insisting that it's his quilt!

I love it! We still have it out because it's so awesome, and Coleson got really sad when I told him it was time to put it away...It'll probably stay out until christmas!
