To start, I wanted to thank the Calverts for the Christmas package, the ward youth for the Christmas letters, the Hammers for the package and food, and Sister Tryon for the weekly letters. Your support makes my days bright!!!
What a week! I am so very tired, but so glad that it has finished. Now, it is just a chill rest of the transfer. Zone conference was this week, so we spent most of the week getting everything ready for zone conference - buying food, making calls, preparing, cleaning and the likes. It was a very good conference, as it always it. President is the man; I love him so very much. The spirit that he brings into the room, as well as his lively spirit, is incredible. After zone conference we had a talent show and I played a song with my companion, Elder Zequini, called "Apena Mais Uma de Amor". It was fun--though it was hard because it has been a long time since I truly sang with all my force. I also played guitar for Sister Raphaela, who sang a song, so I was able to show off two talents in the show, haha. It was very fun.
So, preparing for the conference, we lost all of Wednesday; conference and a talent show, so we lost all of Thursday; and on Saturday we helped some of the Elders move to a new apartmento, so we lost all of Saturday. It was almost a week without work, so I am so excited for this week to work even harder to make up the time lost. One good note is we marked a baptism for this Saturday of Andréia, and she will need your prayers as she strives to [overcome some habits]!!!
Con amor,
Elder Burnham
